With my biases in mind, I finally opened the shiny, golden tube of Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare's latest creation: the DermInfusions Fill + Repair Eye Cream ($64), which quickly became a regular part of my routine.

      Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare's DermInfusions Fill + Repair Eye Cream is not only visually appealing (after all, who doesn’t enjoy reaching for a beautifully packaged product daily?), but it also impressed me for various reasons. Its intensely hydrating formula contains two different weights of hyaluronic acid that work together to fill in my hollow under-eyes, while also providing my dry skin with much-needed hydration wherever I apply it. You can use this formula in small dots all around your eye area—including your brow bone—which turned out to be a lifesaver for the dryness caused by the weather that had begun to spread to my eyelids before I started testing it. (Spoiler alert: Those dry patches are now completely gone, making this formula suitable for sensitive skin, in my opinion.) While I didn't notice a significant change in the depth of my under-eye pigmentation (once again, my genetics are to blame), its peptide complex and Kakadu plum worked effectively on other areas I’ve noted as problematic. The rich emulsion noticeably de-puffed my skin after restless nights, and I could even feel a gentle tingling sensation as the peptides and antioxidants tightened and lifted my skin.

      When a brand recommends using a product both morning and night, I usually assume it's more effective in the evening due to a thick, creamy texture. However, this fluid-like eye cream is so lightweight that I find myself applying it in the morning for a brightening boost on no-makeup days. Moreover, when I do decide to wear makeup, I can easily apply concealer as little as two minutes after using this product on my skin without experiencing any pilling, gripping, or odd formula shifts, which have plagued me with nearly every other eye cream in the past. You could call it user error, but this product has completely resolved that issue.

      Though I am 24 and primarily use this cream as a preventive measure, I am happily going to introduce my 53-year-old mom to this formula when I visit her next (even though I wish to keep it all for myself) because I know it will smooth out her fine lines. She will be the next enthusiast, and I will likely "borrow" a few drops from her tube the next time I fly home, inevitably forgetting key items in my skincare routine.
