The newest brand I’m completely enamored with? An indie label called Fulton & Roark. While I appreciate a classic French fragrance brand as much as anyone else, Fulton stands out with its strong commitment to its fully American heritage. Each fragrance serves as evidence that European perfumes aren't always the best. They take you on a journey through various parts of the U.S., from the gentle whispers of the California coast to the lively beaches of Miami. You may be familiar with the brand’s Calle Ocho scent, inspired by Little Havana, which has gained viral attention on TikTok recently. To say it’s one of my favorites would be an understatement, and I’ll explain why shortly. This viral sensation from TikTok is delightful and ideal for the upcoming summer months. It’s warm, spicy, inviting, and simply velvety sweet. It encompasses everything I adore in a fragrance. Drawing inspiration from the rich culture of Little Havana, it's suitable for both an evening out and everyday wear. Recently, it has become my most frequently reached-for scent. I find the blending of cinnamon, rum, and chocolate to be utterly delectable and creamy. Additionally, it offers good longevity on the skin, giving me around eight hours before needing a refresh. Although the $205 price tag isn't the most budget-friendly, it's clear that this brand uses high-quality ingredients, making it worth the splurge.

      Perpetua Extrait De Parfum

      Key notes: Neroli, lemon, amber, jasmine, coumarin, cedarwood. This scent is so amazing that, like Calle Ocho, it's frequently sold out. It ranks as my second favorite from the brand after Calle Ocho. I relish its freshness; neroli and lemon are two of my preferred fragrance notes. There's a sweetness present alongside a lively zest that makes me envision sipping an Aperol Spritz in a warm coastal setting. Even though Cape Perpetua is located in Oregon, surrounded by evergreen forests, I still capture that Aperol vibe!

      Thousand Palms Extrait De Parfum

      Key notes: Bell pepper, petitgrain, pink pepper, tuberose, coriander leaf, mango, patchouli, amber woods. Nestled in the Coachella Valley, Thousand Palms is a lush expanse of greenery and an oasis preserve. This fragrance beautifully encapsulates that paradise with sparkling notes of petitgrain and pink pepper, leading to softer elements like tuberose and a succulent hint of mango. It’s an excellent scent for the transition from spring to summer or for wearing to Coachella, as it’s so appropriate.

      Key notes: Citrus zest, transparent jasmine, jasmine sambac, ylang-ylang, cashmeran, ambrox, skin musk, moss crystal. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I genuinely loved this unisex fragrance. It draws inspiration from a rainy day at Cloudland Canyon in Georgia, taking you to a serene mountain viewpoint with notes of jasmine, ylang-ylang, and moss crystal. It has a fresh, light, and airy essence that avoids the laundry detergent vibe common in some lighter fragrances. It slightly reminds me of Byredo's Blanche due to its muskiness, but this scent feels crisper to me.
