      "Our love story is quite unique because I was once a fan of Caspar," shares Ambar Driscoll-Lee, a London-based content creator. "He was a YouTuber, and I was a teenage fangirl when I first met him at a meet-and-greet at age 13. He doesn't recall this and actually began following me on Instagram years later. (Of course, I had grown up and moved on by then.) He reached out to me, and now, seven years later, we are married. It's amusing to think about how often I wondered what my future husband was doing at that time. I had no idea we had already crossed paths and even taken a photo together at that meet-and-greet! I agreed to go on a date with him (we played Monopoly) to please my teenage self, not realizing we would truly hit it off and be inseparable ever since."

      Regarding the proposal, Ambar explains it was quite a surprise. However, she had sensed that Caspar was acting a bit differently in the weeks leading up to it. "He took me to our favorite hotel in South Africa, where he grew up, and presented me with a gift that was shaped like a book at sunset. It was a personalized Harry Potter book (I adored those books as a child), entitled 'Ambar and Caspar & the Chamber of No Secrets,' featuring an illustration of ourselves and my cat, Joey, in the Weasley flying car. The book narrated the story of our relationship, illustrated, and culminating in Caspar's proposal. The ring was concealed within the book. It was incredibly sweet."

      Once engaged, the couple began discussing wedding ideas and decided on South Africa with their closest family and friends. They celebrated their love against a stunning mountain backdrop, donning a custom Savannah Miller Bridal wedding dress, enjoying a South African family-style feast, and gathering in a glass marquee adorned with drapery and candles.       "I had a truly special morning with my mum and bridesmaids. We commenced with a walk, followed by my sister guiding us through a meditation to set our intention for the day. It felt essential to spend this time in nature, grounding ourselves in the day's significance. I wore a lovely lilac robe set from Bocan Couture and opted for a very natural makeup look. I dislike wearing foundation in my daily life, so I didn't want to feel like a different version of myself on my wedding day. My makeup artist did an excellent job, and I felt completely like myself. For my hair, my hairstylist created a beautiful, soft half-up, half-down style, which was very practical given the extremely windy weather!"

      "Caspar wore a classic navy tux from Reiss, as he prefers blue over black for formal wear."

      "My wedding dress was custom-made by Savannah Miller Bridal, and the experience of creating a bespoke dress was both incredibly enjoyable and somewhat nerve-wracking. I wanted a grand dress that remained lightweight in the heat, as many of the larger dresses I had previously tried on felt too heavy. I wanted the ability to move freely! The team found the perfect silk dupioni fabric that was incredibly light. They designed the ideal strapless bodice, which fit me better than anything else I had ever worn. It was a beautiful moment when I saw my dress in its final form for my fitting at the Four Seasons."

      "Given that our venue had predominantly uneven grass, I didn't even consider wearing heels! I really desired ballet flats with ribbons and found the perfect pair in the ideal color at the Repetto store in Paris. The Savannah Miller Bridal team embroidered our wedding date and our initials in my handwriting onto each shoe."

      "The invitations were exquisite. They were designed by a talented UK designer named Sarah Coombes, who illustrated our venue and the breathtaking view of the lagoon on a gatefold invitation. They followed a blue theme, which you'll notice was essentially the theme of our wedding. Our planners described it as the blue wedding."

      "Consider the venue when selecting your dress. My dress was entirely designed with our location in mind, and it was perfect. While trying on dresses before designing my own, there was one that made both my mother and I cry, but it wouldn't have worked for the day, as it would have been too restrictive. We added hip pads for volume, and the fabric created lovely shapes in the wind. It also featured bustles in both the front and back, allowing it to evolve throughout the day.
