The Sole Trend That May Impact the Miniskirt's Popularity This Summer
Last week, I covered Miley Cyrus's outfit during an outing in New York City. (Hint: It featured some very 2000s footwear.) It appears she didn’t linger in the Big Apple and quickly flew to Paris instead. While looking through photo agencies, I discovered images of Cyrus in the French city sporting no fewer than five different outfits within just 48 hours. (Meanwhile, here in Los Angeles, I've been wearing the same sweatshirt for five days straight.) One outfit that caught my attention was Cyrus's complete look from Saint Laurent, which featured a knee-length skirt—a trend that was prevalent on the spring/summer 2025 runways of top brands like Khaite, Tom Ford, and The Row. Given its runway popularity and Cyrus's endorsement, I think the classic knee-length skirt might even take over from minis this summer. Only time will reveal if I'm correct.
