      Denim is definitely one of my favorite fabrics to wear. While others may tuck away their best jeans for the summer, I'm on the lookout for key summer denim trends that enable me to don jeans (or variations of them) well into August. It's possible to incorporate styles from other seasons as well, but my black jeans and oversized, floor-length wide-leg options often feel a bit too heavy when it's warm outside. Fortunately, this year offers a wide array of denim-centric looks for summer 2025. I'm continually amazed by the ways denim evolves and transforms each season. Just when I think there couldn't possibly be any new ideas, another style re-emerges or appears that I hadn't anticipated. This summer, the Bermuda shorts from the '90s and early 2000s have made a comeback, revamped with a smart, tailored touch, while colors that were popular last year have shown up in denim form (hello, cocoa-brown jeans); moreover, dungarees have solidified their position as a fun way to incorporate denim into summer outfits.
