Pop quiz! If the last few years have been characterized by minimalism, neutral tones, and capsule wardrobes, what trend can we anticipate next? If you responded with something like "vibrant, lively colors," you get an A. It's true: Fun, colorful clothing is making a comeback. The fashion crowd is even welcoming neon hues, incorporating vibrant reds and blues into their daily outfits. I'm gradually reintroducing color into my accessories and footwear, starting with my sneakers. Just take a look at the streets of L.A. and NY, where stylish individuals are flaunting shoes in shades like baby blue, bubblegum pink, chocolate brown, and more. Naturally, a pair of adidas is on my summer shopping list—I can't choose between the Tokyo and Taekwondo models, but I will definitely get a pair in one of the four shades mentioned below. This might be my favorite color trend from the group. I appreciate that baby blue stands out without being as intense as Brat green, for example. I would style these with white culottes and a black button-down for a striking color-blocking look.
