I was raised amidst the icons of late '90s and early 2000s pop culture—such as the Spice Girls, B*Witched, and Destiny's Child. During that time, girl groups were thriving, and their music, vibrant personalities, and amazing styles influenced a whole generation for years. Now, girl groups are making a strong comeback. If you watched Pop Star Academy: Katseye on Netflix, you'll understand what I mean. The show took us on an emotional journey with a group of young women competing to join the global pop group Katseye. I experienced laughter and tears, but most importantly, I supported each finalist whole-heartedly. I recognized the immense effort, including literal blood, sweat, and tears, that led them to success.

Once the group was complete, the women dove right into their work. They released a new single, "Gnarly," and an EP is set to debut later this month, keeping them busier than ever. When they're not creating music, they're collaborating with brands they believe in, like Glossier and Invisalign. I spoke with Manon Bannerman and Sophia Laforteza from the group about their affection for these brands and other beauty products they recommend.

Is your partnership with Invisalign something personal for both of you? Manon Bannerman: I consider it a very personal partnership because it developed in such an organic way. We had been using Invisalign prior to the collaboration, and then the brand approached us, saying, "Hey, we love you guys. Would you like to team up?" I immediately said, "Yes!" Ever since I was a trainee on Pop Star Academy, I was eager to get Invisalign because my teeth were a big insecurity for me. I have a small gap, which is cute, but I personally wanted it closed. Since starting with Invisalign, I feel like I can laugh again.

Sophia Laforteza: Like Manon, I was thrilled when I got mine. I opted for Invisalign because it's so convenient. You can easily take it off and put it back on. It's invisible and portable, making it a practical choice, especially given our daily activities.

Definitely! It must fit seamlessly into your routine. Can you share your morning and evening skincare routines?

MB: In the morning, I just wet my face with water, but my evening routine is more complex. I use my Mario Badescu cleanser, a toner from Fresh, a heavy night cream, and my prescription.

SL: In the morning, the very first thing I do is take out my Invisalign aligners, then I brush my teeth. I wash my face with cold water and a hydrating cleanser. I have a full skincare routine that includes facial massages. Sometimes I use a gua sha, but other times I'm a bit lazy and just use my hands. I apply several serums—hyaluronic acid, a heartleaf toner from Anua, then moisturize and put on sunscreen. After finishing my skincare, I let it settle for a bit. Occasionally, I do face masks in the morning too, especially if I plan to wear more makeup when shooting or interviewing.

For my nighttime routine, I follow a similar process but finish with a thicker moisturizer, like the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, which I recommend to everyone—it's my go-to. It’s especially helpful since I'm on Accutane, which dries my skin out severely. I need to feel moisturized before bed, and when I wash it off in the morning with cold water, my skin feels fresh. I've been leaning towards moisturizers with a watery consistency lately; right now, I'm using one from Round Lab and really enjoying the jelly-like feel—it’s light and refreshing.

What does your current makeup routine look like? Any products you're particularly fond of right now?

SL: I'm currently obsessed with Glossier's Futuredew. I incorporated it into my skincare routine because we're working on a campaign with Glossier. Today, I used it all over my face before applying makeup to look more awake and hydrated. It's my favorite right now.

MB: For me, it's the Dior foundation stick. I picked it up in Korea, and it makes my skin look flawless! I believe that great makeup starts with quality preparation. I also dermaplane my face beforehand for smoothness. Regarding my brow routine, I shave both the top and bottom of my brows.

SL: This is a bit random, but I was at my aunt's house wearing my aligners, and she asked if I had lip fillers because it seemed to make my lips look fuller. I told her, "No, I'm just wearing my Invisalign!" [Laughs] Who knew that Invisalign could give the appearance of fuller lips?

Do you have any go-to products you use before performing?

MB: Definitely a solid setting spray! My favorite is the One/Size Powder Melt Glass Setting Spray.

SL: That one is fantastic! I'm using a
