      In recent years, the internet has witnessed numerous fleeting trends, from balletcore to quiet luxury to the mob wife aesthetic. Every few months, a new viral aesthetic emerges, enjoys a brief spotlight, and then fades from our collective memory. However, there is one trend that has remained consistent since 2022: the coastal grandma aesthetic. Perhaps it's the timeless nature of this style that draws me back (it is based on a film from 2003, after all), but year after year, I'm captivated by the coastal grandma's beachy and effortlessly chic vibe.

      It's precisely how I want my summer to feel: casual and relaxed, filled with beach outings, crisp white wine, and a touch of luxury. Yet, as someone who definitely does not have a home in the Hamptons (or even live by the coast), I need a few elements to authentically capture that vibe. Thus, I've compiled everything necessary to embody the coastal grandma dream this summer.
