To be honest, I’ve never really looked to celebrities for fashion inspiration. The loud prints, bold colors, and eye-catching pieces often felt too extravagant for my more understated and polished style. But 2025? It has completely shifted my perspective. The Met Gala last month saw stars displaying exquisite tailoring in tribute to Black dandyism, while the Cannes Film Festival elevated French elegance to new heights. This year has genuinely impressed me with celebrity fashion. Just when I thought they couldn’t outdo themselves, the Serpentine Summer Party occurred last night.
Each year, the Serpentine Gallery celebrates its freshly revealed pavilion, and 2025 highlighted Bangladeshi architect Marina Tabassum and her stunning installation, ‘A Capsule in Time,’ made from artistic wooden and bamboo structures. The guest list was equally remarkable, featuring many of our favorite style icons like Monroe Bergdorf and Lily Allen. Instead of the vibrant outfits we typically see on the red carpet, they opted for sleek monochromatic looks that can seamlessly fit into our daily wardrobes.
