The XXV ceremony of the national award "Media Manager of Russia" took place in Moscow.

On July 4th, Moscow hosted the main event in the media industry — the 25th National "Media Manager of Russia" Award ceremony. The award presentation took place at the Bellagio restaurant.

The names of the best in 19 main categories and the grand prix were announced. The evening was hosted by the legendary Murzilki from Avtoradio, accompanied musically by the Rumyantsev Quartet.

The coveted statuette in the shape of a golden seagull, "For Contribution to Industry Development," was awarded to Vladimir Soloviev, Chairman of the Union of Journalists of Russia, and Alexander Kupriyanov, Editor-in-Chief of Vechernaya Moskva newspaper.

      — Over 25 years, the "Media Manager of Russia" award has become very prestigious within the media community. It’s encouraging to see recognition for achievements in electronic press, radio, television, and other media. But especially gratifying is that the newspaper and magazine industries are also remembered, — says Alexander Kupriyanov.

The Chairman of the Union of Journalists also noted the level of organization of the ceremony.

      — I was particularly impressed by the singing hosts who energized the audience. It was very pleasant to be in such a friendly atmosphere among people I have known for many years. And, of course, I am proud to receive this award. I will cherish it and continue working in the same spirit, — says Vladimir Soloviev.

Among the top media managers of Russia were also recognized CEO of Channel One Konstantin Ernst and Editor-in-Chief of Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper, Chairman of the Moscow Journalists Union, Pavel Gusev.

      — In 1983, when I became the editor-in-chief of Komsomolskaya Pravda, the concept of a "media manager" did not yet exist. Now, talking about modern media and its leaders shows how far we’ve come. Undoubtedly, this success is thanks to our readers, — says Pavel Gusev.

Additionally, awards in the "Regional Media" category went to Anna Balyuk, editor-in-chief of Vechernyaya Moskva, and Kirill Smirnov, General Director of PJSC Petrocenter, and chief editor of Petersburg Diary. The "Communications" award was given to Yulia Temnikova, adviser to the deputy mayor of Moscow for transport and industry and deputy head of the Moscow Metro.

As part of the event, the organizers congratulated Komsomolskaya Pravda on its 100th anniversary, Rossiyskaya Gazeta on its 35th anniversary, and other media outlets celebrating milestone dates this year.

The "Media Manager of Russia" Award was established in 2000. Laureate titles are awarded to top managers in media, advertising, and PR industries for professionalism and an innovative approach to their work.
