Kate Middleton Has Just Ditching Her Iconic Wide-Leg Trousers for This Unfashionable Style
To trace the progression of the Princess of Wales's fashion, one only needs to examine her trouser choices. When Kate Middleton first gained public attention in the early 2000s, she sported low-rise bootcut jeans, similar to many at the time. By the 2010s, she shifted to mid-rise skinny jeans and pants. Around 2019, the princess embraced a new silhouette: wide-leg trousers. Prior to this, Middleton typically reserved trousers and jeans for casual events, opting for dresses during more formal occasions. The introduction of wide-leg styles allowed her to wear trousers in dressier ways, steering clear of white trainers or flat shoes. Over the past six years, Middleton has maintained her fondness for full-length, wide-leg trousers. Recently, however, she broke from tradition by selecting a straight-leg, cropped pair. While this isn't the first time she's donned such a style, it marks a change from her usual choices.
