Spotted in Paris: The Two Color Trends Everyone Will Wear Together This Fall

      We've reached a time of year when it's increasingly common to start considering autumn color trends. In fact, the initial back-to-school advertisements are likely on the horizon within days or weeks. Additionally, the most trend-conscious fashion enthusiasts, like Dua Lipa, are already embracing autumn styles, with her currently in Paris for the Haute Couture Fashion Week events.

      Given the rainy weather and temperatures that didn’t even reach 21 degrees in Paris today, it’s not surprising that Dua Lipa opted for a fur-trimmed leather coat for dinner last night. However, what caught my attention first was her choice of colors: chocolate brown and lilac. Her Chloé outfit included the aforementioned chocolate brown coat and a pale lilac slip dress, also from the brand. The chocolate brown trend is firmly established and here to stay, while lilac is the powder-pink adjacent trend that was prominent on the A/W 2025 runways. As Dua Lipa demonstrated, combining these two colors is a perfect match and will facilitate a smooth transition from summer to fall wardrobes.
