This experience has honed my ability to spot great tailoring, and I've recently tried on a pair of tailored trousers from COS that are likely to become a coveted item for the brand. It’s uncommon for a high street label to produce an It item, but COS is certainly capable of achieving that. Renowned for its outstanding tailoring and a collection of sleek styles that often resemble high-end designs, COS is a go-to for editors and fashion enthusiasts seeking luxury looks at more accessible prices. These trousers exemplify COS’s design expertise.

      The Relaxed Fluid Wide-Leg Trousers are precisely as the name suggests. They feature a wide-leg shape with sharp front pleats and a relaxed silhouette. I opted for my usual size, but I also noticed adjustable elastic tabs inside the waistband to ensure an ideal fit. Made from a blend of tencel lyocell and recycled nylon, these trousers are lightweight and versatile enough for year-round wear. From the fit to the drape, I would confidently say these are my favorite COS trousers that I have ever tried on, and I’ve tried quite a few.

      I tried on the black version, but like many of COS's sought-after items, they were sold out online by the time I left the store. Fortunately, the deep burgundy color, which almost leans toward brown, is still in stock, along with a playful pink option for those seeking a less traditional choice. I'll keep you informed about any restocks in black, but if you’re drawn to the other colors, act quickly.
