This Shoe Color Trend Is More Stylish Than Black, Burgundy, and Brown.

      Throughout my primary school years, I wore a uniform that specified I could choose shoes in only three colors: black, brown, or navy. Being the fashion contrarian I have always been, I opted for navy, which set me apart from nearly everyone else at my school. Nevertheless, I adored my navy-blue ballet flats and wore them even outside of class. However, after elementary school, my navy flats didn't go with me. In fact, I didn’t really consider wearing that color in shoes again, as black, brown, and burgundy shoes took precedence. That changed recently, though, as new styles in that elegant shade started appearing, reminding me of why I loved it in the first place.

      Repetto's Cendrillon Ballerina Flats is one of my favorite pairs, representing a staple for many French women looking for both comfort and elegance. I'm not alone in my admiration; model Kaia Gerber shares a fondness for the Cendrillon Flats, frequently wearing them in various colors, including navy, which she sported this week while preparing for a New Play Reading Series at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts. She styled her flats effortlessly with a matching athletic skort, a red T-shirt, and a black sweatshirt. While trainers could have been used, her footwear choice added a formal touch that trainers wouldn't provide. Yet, the same shoes can easily be dressed up by swapping the skort for white jeans or black trousers and replacing the sweatshirt with a sweater or a white blouse.
