Goodness in Every Cup: Elizaveta Boyarskaya, the Life in Motion foundation and the Yagoda coffee chain launch a signature coffee to help children with disabilities

Russian theater and film actress Elizaveta Boyarskaya, together with the Life in Motion charitable foundation and the cozy coffee chain Yagoda, are launching a charity campaign that will not only delight residents and visitors of Saint Petersburg with the rich flavor of exotic coffee but also help improve the lives of children with various limb conditions.

A signature drink — the “Halva Latte” — was created especially for this initiative, based on a recipe shared by Elizaveta Boyarskaya. Each time customers choose this drink, they will not only enjoy its rich taste but also make an important contribution to the future of children and adolescents with disabilities: 250 rubles from each order will go to support the foundation’s beneficiaries. And for every drink served in the “Create Good” cup, 100 rubles will be donated to the foundation: for children with various limb conditions who, despite their difficulties, pursue their boldest dreams every day.

In addition, cafés will offer postcards featuring illustrations created by children — these bright and touching drawings have traveled around the world together with the foundation’s beneficiaries as part of the “Yachting Without Borders” project, symbolizing the spirit of adventure, dreams, and belief in one’s own strength. Each postcard is not only a beautiful souvenir but also part of an important charitable initiative: all proceeds from sales will also go to support the foundation’s beneficiaries.

Elizaveta Boyarskaya has been an ambassador for the Life in Motion foundation for several years, actively supporting its initiatives and helping draw attention to important social issues. However, this is the first large-scale, full-fledged joint campaign in which the actress personally took part in creating the unique signature drink and is actively helping to raise funds for children and adolescents with disabilities. “The kids, the foundation’s beneficiaries, despite all the difficulties they have had to face, continue to live full lives, maintaining their faith and dreams of a better future,” says Elizaveta Boyarskaya. “Our shared task is to help them improve the quality of their lives and expand their opportunities. As a public figure, I consider it my duty to draw attention to important problems through my work and influence. If I have such an opportunity, I cannot pass it up. I believe it is the duty of everyone who is able to help.”

About the Life in Motion foundation:

The Life in Motion foundation was established in 2014. The founders are physician Natalya Shaginyan and People’s Artist of Russia Evgeny Mironov. The foundation assists children and adolescents across the country, including in newly included regions, as well as in Belarus. Over 11 years the Life in Motion foundation has helped 652 children.

Most importantly, Life in Motion helps not only with fitting prostheses but also with the social adaptation of young people. Through various projects, people with disabilities are encouraged to take part in sports, overcome their limits, and shed their insecurities.
