The 30-year-old French supermodel has been an ambassador for L'Oréal Paris since 2020, and we recently caught up with her at the Cannes Film Festival to discuss her favorite makeup products, her best beauty tips, and even her secret eyebrow pencil trick.
1. How does your beauty routine influence your self-esteem? I believe that having a beauty routine is a form of self-care. Taking time for yourself and choosing to prioritize yourself for a moment is closely tied to your confidence and how you present yourself to the world.
2. Which makeup product lifts your spirits the most? The L'Oréal Paris Panorama Mascara is fantastic. That’s the mascara I use. Sometimes, I leave the house with only that mascara on. For me, it’s everything. Maybe I’ll add some lip balm, and that’s it.
3. If you could take someone else's makeup bag, whose would it be? Honestly, mine is pretty great.
4. If you could only use one product for the rest of your life, what would it be? Oh, that’s tough. I think I would opt for something to hydrate my lips. That’s the product I always carry with me. A little gloss or the Plump Ambition Hyaluron Lip Oil from L'Oréal Paris works well. It’s super hydrating while giving your lips that necessary glow.
5. What’s the best beauty advice you’ve ever received? I would say it’s essential to double cleanse at night. Doing it twice is very important. Lately, I also switched to a silk pillowcase for my hair and face, and it's magical.
6. What sums up your beauty philosophy in one sentence? I believe confidence is the most beautiful makeup you can wear. When you see a woman walking confidently down the street, she has a unique aura that goes beyond her outfit or makeup; it’s the inner feeling she projects that is all she needs.
7. What is your biggest beauty mistake? Sleeping with your makeup on is the worst. That would definitely be a no-no.
8. Name one beauty product you always have in your handbag. A lip balm. I mentioned it earlier, but yes, with lip balm or lip gloss.
9. What’s the best drugstore product under £10? The Burt's Bees lip balm is excellent! The one with honey and peppermint is the best—avoid the others, it's very specific!
10. What is your top beauty hack? I use my eyebrow pencil to contour my lips. I do this frequently. I love a little brown contour, slightly darker than my lip color, to make my lips appear fuller. I would use the same shade for my eyebrows as well.
11. Do you have a preferred eyebrow pencil for this technique? Not specifically. I typically use powder, but because I have a scar on my eyebrows, this method works best with a pencil.
