Since I started using this 3-in-1 hair tool, I have never received more compliments on my hair.
As a beauty editor, I'm confident that I've tested over 50 different hair tools throughout my career. From the Dyson Airwrap to the Shark Flexstyle, I've encountered every type of curling wand, hair straightener, and hair dryer. One tool I hadn't yet tried was Hershesons The Multi-Tasker (£195), a versatile 3-in-1 device offering a hair waver, curling wand, and thermal hot brush. Honestly, since trying it out, I've received compliments on my hair each time I've used it. I've even gotten several messages from colleagues on Slack during Zoom calls asking about my beachy waves, and friends inquiring how I achieved those loose waves. Each time, I’ve directed them to this hair tool.

The Multi-Tasker (Short Hair)
Specifications: 3-in-1 hair tool with interchangeable attachments, available in two versions, designed for long and short hair with different-sized attachments. Comes with a 38mm thermal round brush attachment, a 30mm round brush attachment, and a 25mm curling wand attachment. Features adjustable heat settings ranging from 150°C to 210°C and includes a stylish blue case.
Pros:
- 3-in-1 tool with interchangeable attachments
- Includes a curling wand and two sizes of thermal round brushes
- Two models available (long hair and short hair) with appropriate attachments
- Straightforward to use
- Adjustable temperature control
Cons:
- Takes time to heat up to higher temperatures
- Short hair version does not include the hair waver attachment
Unlike a wet-to-dry hair multistyler, The Multi-Tasker is intended for use on dry hair to style your lengths. It's available in two versions, one tailored for long hair and the other for short hair, featuring different attachments suited for each hair length. For this review, I used the long hair version, which comes with a hair waver, curling wand, and thermal round brush for creating various styles. Below are my candid impressions of the hair tool and each attachment.
**The Round Brush**
Differing from other hot brushes, this one doesn’t use hot air for drying and styling. Instead, it operates solely on heat, meant to be used on dry hair for a bouncy, blowout finish. In my experience, such dry tools tend to maintain styles longer, which was true with this attachment as well. It’s very easy to maneuver through my hair and adds instant volume at the roots and bounce throughout the mid-lengths.
**The Curling Wand**
I have a preference for curling wands that create soft curls instead of stiff, prom-style ringlets, and this size is perfect. It results in loose curls that give a naturally tousled appearance without looking overly styled. The hold is impressive as well. In fact, the picture above was taken eight hours post-use, and I still enjoyed tousled waves the next day.
**The Waver**
I have a significant affection for the waver. Some others I've tried make my hair look excessively polished, but Hershesons gives my lengths a slightly disheveled (but cool) look, almost as if I just came back from a day spent surfing. The waver barrel accommodates a good amount of hair, allowing me to finish my entire head in under 10 minutes. Like the curling wand, the waves nicely remain intact until the following day.
**The Verdict**
At £195, I'm aware this hair tool is a considerable investment. However, given that you essentially receive a curling wand, a thermal brush, and—if you choose the long hair set—a hair waver all in one, it seems like great value. You could easily spend £100 on each of those items separately, making this feel like a wise investment if you plan to add these tools to your collection.
The interchangeable attachments also save storage space, fitting neatly into the included stylish blue vanity case, making it ideal for travel (in comparison to other hair tools
