"Good Wave" returns to Moscow: the regional qualifying round of the charity festival for young talents
On October 15 and 16, 2025, in Moscow, at the Folklore Center "Moscow", the final regional qualifying round of the All-Russian cultural and charitable children's creativity festival "Dobrya Volna" will take place. The project is held with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.
"Dobrya Volna" is a festival for talented children and teenagers in difficult life situations, including those with limited physical abilities. In 2025 the festival is being held for the sixth time and is aimed at spreading a culture of kindness and charity in modern society, supporting young talents and developing creative and social ties between Russian cities.
The All-Russian cultural and charitable festival "Dobrya Volna" was created in 2017 on the initiative of Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin and People's Artist of Russia, composer Igor Krutoy. The festival is held with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Charitable Development Fund "Dobrya Kazan". The organizers of the festival are the Academy of Popular Music and the Kazan City Hall.
Since 2018 the festival has been warmly received in Moscow, where young participants have repeatedly become prize-winners of the competition.
Children and teenagers aged 7 to 17 who are in difficult life situations, including persons with limited physical abilities, are invited to take part in the regional stage. The festival has three age categories: 7–9, 10–13 and 14–17. In total, the festival includes four creative directions: vocal, instrumental performance, choreography and stage art (spoken word, sign-language singing, acrobatics, circus arts, fashion theater, etc.). Participation in "Dobrya Volna" is free of charge.
On October 15, from 10:00, at the Folklore Center "Moscow" (9 Barklaya St., Moscow) auditions and performances will take place in all creative nominations. The participants' work will be judged by a professional jury composed of teachers and creative experts.
On October 16 at 17:00 there will be a solemn award ceremony for the winners and a festive concert featuring the best performances of the laureates.
Winners of the regional stage will receive an invitation to the festival final in Kazan, where they will be able to perform on the same stage with well-known Russian artists and receive support from professionals.
