Singer Anastasia Kazantseva has presented her new track "Little Ring" — a contemporary interpretation of Russian folk tradition in which folklore sounds fresh, fashionable and truly infectious. "Little Ring" is a story everyone knows: about love, promises and that girlish naivety that still lives in us despite the centuries.

The song includes the lines "my beloved gave me a little ring" — as if from an old incantation — but in a modern arrangement they turn into a light pop anthem with folk accents.

      Anastasia says:

"I wanted to show that a folk song is not an archival recording but a living feeling that is still relevant today. In 'Little Ring' I combined simplicity and depth — what has always been in our roots but has somehow become rare on the radio."

The sound was overseen by a team inspired by the idea of making "Russian folk" relevant: live frame drums, light synths, female choral parts and an almost shamanic rhythm that makes you want to dance barefoot.

The song has become part of the "Russian folk" line in Anastasia Kazantseva's work — a turn to traditions where the female voice is a force.

"Little Ring" is not just a song about a ring; it is a symbol: a promise a girl first and foremost makes to herself — to love, to believe and to choose only what resonates with the heart.
