Animation studio YARKO and the Integral Research Institute present the children's digital literacy magazine "CyberSchool" at the #ReadFest festival

Moscow, October 28, 2025 — Animation company YARKO (part of Gazprom-Media Holding) and the Research Institute Integral (Ministry of Digital Development of Russia) will take part in the All‑Russian Family Reading Festival #ChitaiFest, which will be held at the Russian State Children's Library (RGDB) from October 31 to November 2, 2025. The event will be part of the joint educational program "Bright Cybersecurity," which brings together the worlds of animation, creativity and digital literacy. On November 2, at the joint YARKO and Integral booth, they will present the first issue of the magazine "Cyber School," dedicated to children's cybersecurity, featuring a themed coloring section and a heroes column from the premiere animated series "Technolike." Children will be introduced to the world of digital technologies and the basics of safe behavior in virtual spaces in an engaging, playful and accessible way. The magazine is available in digital and print formats and is planned to be published quarterly.

In addition, animation company YARKO will present books to visitors and hold a prize drawing inspired by its popular animated projects — "Drakoshiya," "Doctor Dinosaurs" and "Shushumagiya."

"For us, it is important that the stories of our characters do not end beyond the screen. Books and magazines are an opportunity to expand the magical world of animation, offering viewers a new form of immersion. We believe that such stories not only entertain but also inspire children to make their own discoveries, bring families together and help explore the world through the lens of friendship and kindness. Our joint cybersecurity project with the Research Institute Integral is a logical step in the development of our mission to create high-quality and useful content for children," said Albina Mukhametzyanova, General Director and Chief Producer of animation company YARKO.

This year’s festival theme is ecology. But how can a modern person do without the "digital"? At the RGDB venue, visitors can expect virtual journeys through Russia’s protected areas, encounters with rare animals and plants, as well as online and offline discussions on the conservation of natural wealth. More than 60 events for children and parents are planned. Broadcasts will be available on VKontakte and Rutube platforms.

"At present, technological progress has begun to accelerate partly beyond human control, causing changes in society that we have yet to comprehend. Modern humans are more vulnerable than ever before, and younger generations are practically defenseless. Therefore, working on children's digital literacy and teaching the basics of cybersecurity from early childhood today is not just 'keeping up with the times' but a vital necessity," noted Igor Sviridov, Deputy Director of the Research Institute Integral.

The "Bright Cybersecurity" project has become part of Gazprom‑Media Holding’s large‑scale "PROfnavigator" project, which helps teenagers decide on a career by demonstrating the diversity and opportunities of creative and technological professions.
