Describing the Vince collections in just one word is challenging, but "chic" certainly comes to mind first. The California-based brand is celebrated for its high-quality, sophisticated, and versatile pieces that can become enduring wardrobe essentials for years. During a recent work trip to Los Angeles, I stopped by the West Hollywood Vince store before a meeting and was amazed by the stunning new drop featuring beautiful winter and holiday-ready items. The dreamy separates in a rich emerald green hue immediately caught my attention (you can see me below in one of the eye-catching coats). Additionally, a fun sequined skirt, a remarkable knit (specifically the one pictured above with the wrap detail), and outstanding shoes also drew my interest. Below, I've compiled all the new Vince winter pieces that I can't stop thinking about due to their beauty. Enjoy. The pandemic undeniably transformed the lives of many TikTok creators, spanning from fashion and beauty to comedy and storytelling. If you browsed through the app in 2020—as many of us did—you likely came across at least one amusing clip from comedian and content creator Elyse Myers, which garnered viral attention multiple times. Like numerous TikTok creators, Myers did not anticipate her rise to internet stardom; she previously operated as an independent entrepreneur running her own web development business.
Myers casually joined TikTok in 2020, never expecting it would reshape her career. Her breakthrough moment arrived with a storytime video detailing a disastrous first date in which she was duped into purchasing 100 tacos from Taco Bell. The relatable humor struck a chord instantly, leading to millions of views and initiating her swift ascent.
As her following expanded, Myers ventured beyond storytelling. She experimented with comedic skits that combined humor with authenticity, openly discussing her mental health challenges and cultivating a community around genuine experiences. By 2022, with millions of followers across TikTok and other social media, Myers made the daring choice to leave web development and focus on content creation full-time.
Now, Myers is deepening her storytelling with her debut book, That’s a Great Question, I’d Love to Tell You. This collection of true stories explores her experiences with friendship, love, and growing up as neurodivergent. Drawing from the personal tales that resonate with her online audience, the book provides deeper insights into the challenges and victories that have shaped her life. It’s a natural progression for a creator who has turned vulnerability into connection.
