      On November 15, the premiere of the family comedy fairy tale "Masha and the Bears" took place at the capital’s Oktyabr film center. The film was produced by the film company Nashe Kino with the support of the online cinema IVI. The film’s general partner is the media holding MAER. It is the story of a brave girl, Masha (Vitalia Kornienko), who must journey into a magical forest to break an evil spell on her younger brother. The wide release of the film is scheduled for November 20, 2025.

      Straight from the enchanted forest, the film’s main characters — the brown bears — wandered into the premiere. The trio of clumsy-footed bears greeted and entertained guests at the event: they spoke about their new adventures and shared the secret of where to find the tastiest berries in the forest. They also brought a replica of their wooden hut so that anyone wishing could feel like a resident of the forest thicket.

      On stage the film was presented by director Antonina Ruzhe, general producer Vasily Rovensky, and actors Vitalia Kornienko, Snezhana Samokhina, Miron Provorov, Diomid Vinogradov, Egor Ship, Mikhail Orlov and others.

      Guests at the premiere included actors Evgeny Kulik, Mikhail Politseymako, Alexander Metelkin, Nikita Tarasov, Artem Gaidukov, Vladimir Steklov, Anton Lavrentyev, Roman Kulyasov, Alisa Rudenko, Antonina Boiko, Slava Kiseleva, Alisa Konashenkova, Eva Danilko, Katrin Assi; performers Ilya Gurov and Alexander Berdnikov; designer and blogger Lyusi Pylaeva, and others.

      "Masha and the Bears" is a story about family, friendship, loyalty and love. The film combines not only the plot of the story by L. N. Tolstoy but also motifs from other popular Russian folk tales.
