A track by young artist GALEYA unexpectedly played for Vladimir Putin at AI Journey 2025.
At the AI Journey 2025 conference today a truly unexpected event occurred for the young artist GALEYA. During a robotics demonstration — at the very moment Vladimir Putin was watching the presentation — one of the robots was showcased to the track "The Sun Rose High," authored by Polyn Folk, GALEYA, Tulskaya and Baltin.
Essentially, Putin heard GALEYA's track in person, in the hall where the presentation took place. For the emerging artist it was a real miracle and a powerful publicity boost.
"When they sent me the video, I couldn't believe it. It's incredible to know that my music played at such a moment," GALEYA said.
The track "The Sun Rose High" is now rapidly gaining interest on social media, and the appearance of the composition at an international AI conference in the presence of the country's leader is already being called the most unexpected media moment of the week.
GALEYA is an artist and singer-songwriter who combines elements of pop and folk, creating a unique sound that reflects the richness and diversity of folk culture.
