Dream Island is ready for the holidays: 450 New Year's trees, floating balloons and magical installations.
True winter magic has arrived at the Dream Island cultural and entertainment cluster.
The magic begins at the entrance. On the central avenue visitors are greeted by arches decorated with twinkling garlands, illuminated buses and a majestic fir tree glittering with thousands of lights.
A second towering festive tree, adorned with white-and-gold baubles, stands just after the entrance to the indoor section of the venue. The main 20-meter tree (as tall as a seven-story building!) stands on Moscow Square in the city promenade. Here visitors will also find new winter photo zones and art installations: gingerbread houses, tunnels of garlands, candy- and lollipop-shaped figures, and beneath the glass dome 76 huge Christmas baubles float.
The winter spirit has spread to the park’s themed zones as well. On the main avenue a festive tree with a mountain of gifts has been installed, and the ceiling is decorated with more than 60 hanging ornaments. In the themed universe “The Snow Queen’s Castle” new installations have appeared: glowing winter sleighs, bright gift displays and other art pieces. In the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” area the first “snowdrifts” have appeared. Even the 17-meter King Kong in the “Mowgli in the Land of Dinosaurs” zone has received a holiday outfit — but to find out exactly what it is, we invite you to see it in person!
