According to the stylish women of Copenhagen, key items such as the ideal white T-shirt, a classic sweater, and well-fitted trousers are essential. This could also include signature statement pieces, where individualism and experimentation are encouraged, combined with reliable neutrals.

      When it comes to beauty, the Danish typically adopt a minimalist approach regarding skincare, hair, and makeup, and the line between beauty and wellness routines tends to blur. Danes are renowned for their longevity, vitality, and what is often referred to as "slow aging." Their habits—ranging from swimming in frigid water to enjoying fresh air and spending time in nature—epitomize the "slow-living" trend that is currently resonating on TikTok. Notable brands like Ole Henriksen, Kjaer Weis, and Tromborg are based in the country, with an emphasis on refined product packaging, skin-focused formulas, and thoughtfully curated routines. Jeanette is the co-founder and creative director of Rotate, a local fashion label, while Sidsel serves as a photographer and contributing editor for Elle Denmark.       **Would you classify yourself as a minimalist or a maximalist?**

      I consider myself a minimalist but I'm not entirely sure. I rely on tried-and-true products that have worked well for me over the years, and I rarely experiment with new items due to my sensitive skin. That said, my routine ensures I never go to bed without cleansing and moisturizing. Occasionally, I make time for a home spa night featuring bath scrubs (from Ara’kai and Mantle's The Hot Ex) and facial masks (Dr. Barbara Sturm, Augustinus Bader—their eye patches are amazing!—Tromborg and Mantle). I dream of starting cupping at home to reduce cellulite, but right now, the cup is just sitting there unused, haha.

      **What does your skincare routine look like at the moment?**

      As mentioned, I always cleanse before bed, currently using the Bare Balm from Mantle, which is a cleanser that also efficiently removes eye makeup—quick and easy is essential at night. After that, I apply La Mer's The Concentrate and Rejuvenating Night Cream. Before sleeping, I always add a thick lip balm and hand cream. I try to dry-brush every morning before showering, although finding the time is often challenging with three kids. I never skip a face cleanse at night, and at the moment, I'm using Rhode's Pineapple Refresh. Twice weekly, I scrub my face with Mantle’s The Ex and always end with a cold shower. I wouldn't miss a good body lotion afterward, either—I love Mantle's The Wipp Body Cream or Amazing Space Body Balm. Recently, I've been enjoying Rhode’s Glazing Milk, Peptide Glazing Fluid, and Barrier Restore Cream, but with the cold weather in Copenhagen, I reverted to my go-to duo: La Mer The Lifting Firming Serum and The Moisturizing Soft Cream that my skin loves.

      **What does your makeup routine involve?**

      I use Caia Dewy Drops every day. It’s a serum foundation that blends seamlessly for a natural and dewy finish, and occasionally I add their concealer under my eyes. I'm also a big fan of the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter Foundation! Chanel's Les Beiges line is a favorite; I rely on their powder for an even healthy glow daily. I've recently discovered Saie and adore their Dew Bronze—it’s liquid and perfect for a soft contour on my cheekbones. I apply
