Autumn Is Just Around the Corner: Here Are the Timeless Shoes I Can't Wait to Wear

      When it comes to my wardrobe, shoes are the items I focus on the most. Along with bags, they are the things I'm most selective about and prefer to invest in. While I usually tend to save on more basic pieces, footwear is a different story. Living in New York means I'm always on my feet, so my shoes have to withstand long days out. Because of this, I've become choosy about my purchases, emphasizing quality and leaning towards timeless styles that I won't tire of, especially since I wear them frequently. With the change of seasons, I'm eagerly anticipating wearing different shapes. On the trendier side, look out for Venetian slippers, boat shoes, animal prints (cow, snake, zebra), croc-embossed textures, deep burgundy, cherry red, silver, satin, suede, and patent leather. Although fashion trends are always evolving, I often view fall as a return to timeless favorites. I instantly think of trench coats, cashmere sweaters, and turtlenecks, as well as footwear like ballet flats, Mary Janes, and loafers. For 2025, we can also expect clogs, wedges, mules, kitten heels, pumps, Tabis, knee-high boots, Hunters, and, of course, Uggs.
