Coach is Releasing a PSA: Here Are the 6 Accessory Trends That Will Shape Spring 2026
Numerous fashion brands feature accessories in their collections, yet only a handful are recognized as leaders in this sector. Coach is among these select brands. Established in 1941, Coach's leather goods and accessories have been celebrated and continue to be in high demand. Recently, the brand has seen a revival, appealing to a younger audience of fashion enthusiasts. The S/S 26 collection exemplifies this shift, with each runway look crafted with Gen Z and its preference for new accessory trends in consideration. For S/S 26, Creative Director Stuart Vevers utilized a neutral color palette that highlighted the accessories. The silhouettes were easygoing and laid-back, often showcasing baggy trousers paired with cropped outerwear, reminiscent of a stylish New Yorker. While the models sported chunky, functional footwear, the accompanying pieces often provided a contrast. The overall result was both fresh and approachable. Scroll down to explore the accessory trends Coach is introducing for spring 2026, as well as a glimpse of the well-dressed celebrities who adorned the front row.

The S/S 26 Accessories Trends
Pouch-Pendant Necklaces and Scarves as Chokers
Pendant necklaces have taken center stage on the NYFW S/S 26 runways, and Coach has creatively embraced this spring trend. True to its legacy as a renowned provider of leather goods, Vevers incorporated leather kiss-lock pouch pendants, showcased around nearly every model's neck. In terms of neckwear, while spring 2025 focused on scarves worn around the waist, spring 2026 is set to trend with scarves tied around the neck, mimicking choker necklaces. Fashion enthusiasts love finding innovative ways to style silky scarves, especially when paired with pouch-pendant necklaces, as frequently seen on the Coach runway.

Side-Buckle Belts
Some of the most engaging trends allow us to use our existing wardrobe pieces, and a significant one was showcased on the Coach S/S 26 runway. The only adjustment needed is to shift the buckle of your leather belt to the side of your body. Time and again, models sported baggy trousers styled with leather belts where the buckle rested at their hip bones. It's a straightforward styling tip that can easily be integrated into your outfits now, and I'm certain Coach has many stylish belts to complement this look.

Kiss-Lock Bags
Vintage-inspired kiss-lock bags are a style Coach has reintroduced, and it is embracing this trend further with its S/S 26 collection. Numerous models showcased kiss-lock pouches, along with barrel bags (including the upcoming Kisslock Barrel Bag, which is expected to become the next popular item) and bucket bags featuring kiss-lock details.

Clip-On Ties
Considering the growing popularity of neckties, it was unsurprising to see the latest iteration: clip-on ties. On the Coach runway, these printed ties were casually attached to denim jackets, vests, and bomber jackets. This playful trend thrives on imperfection.

Just One Earring
The trend of wearing a single oversized earring fluctuates in popularity every few years, but if the Coach runway is any indication, it's making a comeback for spring 2026. For maximum impact, follow the models' lead and choose an oversized, preferably geometric earring.
