      As someone in the fashion world who stands at just 5’0”, I always believed I would need to hem all my pants, even jeans. During my high school and college years, I frequently shopped in the little boys' section, as those were the only bottoms that fit my thighs and reached my ankles properly. However, that phase was short-lived; after my frontal lobe matured and I went through a second puberty, it just wasn’t feasible anymore. After spending years figuring out what suited my petite and curvier figure, I began to shop more wisely. Hemming each pair of pants, particularly jeans, became 1) quite costly and 2) extremely time-consuming. Recently, trying on jeans in stores no longer feels like a chore but has turned into an adventure. I urge anyone who feels uneasy in their bodies, whether petite or not, to shift their perspective on this; it makes the process much easier. Finding the ideal pair of jeans can be discouraging, but I've discovered seven pairs that cater to my small frame.
