      If I were to compile a list of my go-to fall essentials for each season, plain sweaters would definitely be near the top. By "plain," I don't mean dull. Instead, I’m talking about those adaptable, still-stylish designs (similar to the one Jennifer Lawrence recently sported) that can be paired with various outfits yet still look sophisticated when simply worn with jeans. The styles of these plain sweaters include crewnecks, V-necks, turtlenecks, polos, and cardigans. While classic cuts work well, more roomy and oversized styles are also trending. It’s worth mentioning that the popular colors for these easy-to-pair sweaters usually fall within the neutral spectrum (beige, black, navy, cream, etc.).
