If you plan to purchase luxury skincare in 2025, I recommend indulging in this, this, and this.

Full disclosure: I believe that effective skincare shouldn’t have to cost a fortune. Products from drugstores can be as effective, if not more, than those priced over $200, and my regimen includes several high-low combinations, even with my assortment of expensive samples. That said, I’ve tried a number of luxury brands (it’s part of my job!) so that when asked if [insert outrageously priced skincare product here] is worth the expense, I can confidently advise to either invest or save their money. Honestly, most of the time, I recommend the latter. However, there are standout products that are genuinely indispensable—so exceptional that if someone were to pick just one item from a luxury skincare line, it would be unwise not to grab it. Some beauty enthusiasts swear by a complete routine from Augustinus Bader or La Prairie, while others might only have the budget for one high-end gem. Regardless of your preference, there’s something for everyone. Continue reading to discover my selections below.

      **Augustinus Bader**

      **The Cream**

This moisturizer is so renowned that simply saying "The Cream" will instantly identify the product. Indeed, Augustinus Bader’s lightweight hydrator merits all the praise. Whenever I’m asked if Bader skincare is worth the investment, I respond with a firm yes. Still, if you plan to splurge on just one product, I recommend starting with the original. It features the brand's proprietary TFC8 complex to promote cell renewal, along with retinyl palmitate, panthenol, and vitamin C to reduce fine lines, soften skin, and brighten complexion. In short, The Cream tackles all skin aging concerns.

      **Sisley-Paris**

**Supremÿa at Night The Supreme Anti-Aging Eye Cream**

I found myself scraping the sides of the jar to extract any remaining product from this eye cream. Honestly, my under-eyes have never been as plump and hydrated since incorporating it into my routine. While many eye creams claim to provide "eight hours of sleep in a bottle," this one comes incredibly close to that skincare dream. Although $420 is quite steep for an eye cream, you only need a small pearl-sized amount for both eyes, so it lasts a long time (my jar lasted eight months, and I used it nightly).

      **La Prairie**

**The Skin Caviar Eye Lift Serum**

Another eye cream worth the investment is La Prairie's Skin Caviar Eye Lift, which I used daily for five months until the very last drop. As the name suggests, this formula contains caviar micronutrients that help to firm the sensitive skin around the eyes and fortify the delicate ligaments that weaken with age. The outcome? Reduced fine lines and sagging in the eye area.

      **Allies of Skin**

      **Founder's Essence 56 Ellagic & P.A.D. Light Reflecting Fluid**

Two words: liquid gold. That’s the best way to describe this powerful essence. The fluid is extremely lightweight, yet it contains an impressive array of actives (56 in total!) that work in harmony to diminish breakouts, lighten hyperpigmentation, tighten pores, enhance the moisture barrier, and impart an ethereal, light-reflecting glow. Allies of Skin's founder, Nicolas Travis, created it as a personal blend (hence the name, Founders Essence), but loved it so much that he wanted to share it widely—while supplies last. Be sure to grab this one if you can!

      **111Skin**

      **Luxury Velvet Mask Planner**

I know that $170 for a pack of face and eye masks may seem excessive. However, I can assure you that the serum-infused hydrogels from 111Skin are entirely worth it. In fact, 111Skin masks might be my top choice of all time—I said it. I'm particularly fond of the Black Diamond line, which works hard to firm skin and smooth fine lines, but you can’t go wrong with any variation (my second favorite is the Cryo De-Puffing mask, which quickly reduces puffy eyes). Instead of buying a pack of five for $140, I recommend the mixed bag of nine for just $30 more. Alternatively, you can custom-create a seven-mask kit on the brand's website for $135. Each mask is indeed pricey (about $18 per eye mask and around $35 per face sheet), so don’t hesitate to use these insider tips.

      **Dr. Barbara Sturm**

      **Hyaluronic Serum**

There are countless hyaluronic acid serums available, so why would you spend over $300 on one? The truth is, no HA serum has made my skin appear as plump as Dr. Barbara Sturm's. The unique formula incorporates a blend of long and short chain hyaluronic molecules for an immediate plumping effect with lasting hydration, plus purslane—an antioxidant
