Even when I visit the gym, I feel odd walking around in workout leggings. The athleisure style has never suited me naturally. This is why I'm so puzzled by my sudden desire to purchase stirrup leggings. It caught me off guard, and I can't help but keep adding them to my cart. It all began when I was browsing photos from the Tibi S/S 26 show. Two looks featuring stirrup leggings constantly occupied my thoughts. The models enhanced this cozy staple with strappy heels and tailored jackets. While leggings can sometimes fit awkwardly at the ankle, depending on the shoes paired with them, these created a silhouette that allowed a hint of skin to show through in the most unexpected and alluring way. The leggings felt far from casual; they were surprisingly sexy and incredibly chic.

I'm not alone in this trend, which makes sense. They are undoubtedly the simplest way to wear something cozy and stylish that originated on the runway. I don't think I've ever seen leggings that I'd be excited to wear to the gym and also envision wearing out afterward.
