      When I learned that one of my favorite designers, Rejina Pyo, was partnering with British high-street icon John Lewis, it felt like an early Christmas gift. For those who might not be familiar with the Rejina Pyo brand, let me share a bit about it. Recognized for her enduring collections aimed at the modern woman, Pyo draws inspiration from art, food, and culture, resulting in timeless ready-to-wear garments, shoes, and accessories that blend contemporary style with elegance. Additionally, her store located in Soho, London, is a design paradise filled with carefully selected antique decor—a must-visit for interior design enthusiasts.

      John Lewis, on the other hand, needs no introduction. It's one of the few longstanding British department stores, known as a benchmark for high-quality products at reasonable prices, and has launched several exciting fashion collaborations over the years, including A.W.A.K.E. Mode and Collagerie.

      It’s uncommon to find a flawless synergy between a luxury designer and a high-street retailer, but this collection exemplifies how remarkable such collaborations can be when executed correctly, effectively bridging the gap between aspiration and accessibility. Furthermore, with the reputations of both Rejina Pyo and John Lewis, shoppers can confidently invest in these pieces knowing that quality has not been compromised.

      I am excited to present my new collaboration with John Lewis, which highlights individuality and timeless style. This collection is crafted for women who appreciate thoughtful design and everyday versatility—each piece blends modernity with practicality, ideal for real-life occasions. My aim was to take the high-quality wardrobe staples for which John Lewis is renowned and reimagine them through the lens of Rejina Pyo. Ultimately, this collection is meant to be lived in, cherished, and repeatedly worn. - Rejina Pyo

      Key pieces from the collection include a soft leather trench in a delightful butter-yellow hue, a classic grey wool top coat, a timeless belted suit in rich merlot-brown, and a faux-fur teddy coat in copper. Denim jeans are also featured, available in deep blue and washed brown-black, alongside a delightful range of knitwear styles, some blended with cashmere for supreme softness. There are shirts with striking buttons, dresses with voluminous sleeves, and a knitted claret merino top-and-midi-skirt set, all reminiscent of the classic Rejina Pyo aesthetic.

      To complete the looks, you'll find leather knee-high riding boots, luxurious belts, satin kitten heels, envelope-style shoulder bags in burgundy and black, cozy wool snoods, and mini faux-fur bracelet bags (to match the jacket), all adorned with an exaggerated buckle motif that adds a hint of Western flair and serves as a cohesive element throughout the collection.

      This collection is tailored for autumn dressing; the color palette draws from nature, incorporating trending shades such as butter yellow, slate grey, copper, khaki green, and burgundy. I’ve fallen for the yellow trench, ultra-soft knitwear, faux-fur coat, and denim, which work beautifully for elegant desk-to-dinner transitions. Launching on Thursday, 9 October (today!), the 34-piece collection merges a classic British aesthetic with Pyo's modern Korean influences. Combining utilitarian city style with a "feminine" countryside simplicity, this capsule collection is both elevated and effortless, designed to be worn season after season.
