Although we can wear whatever we prefer, we typically adhere to the "guidelines" of seasonal attire and trends. Ariana Grande decided to defy one of those outdated conventions by incorporating a jeans color commonly linked to spring and summer into her winter outfit: light-wash jeans. I didn’t anticipate this denim shade trend for winter 2025, but Grande’s support for light-wash jeans is prompting me to rethink it.

The combination of the jeans with a nice pair of boots and other black pieces truly highlighted the jeans in a way that was sophisticated, trendy, and suitable for the season.
