It's Official: Dua Lipa's Starry Nails Are the Most Stylish Interpretation of a Festive Manicure.
If there’s a celebrity currently inspiring nail trends, it’s Dua Lipa. From her recent halo nails to her constantly evolving nail art (which I’ve captured numerous times this year—my camera roll is filled with her nail inspiration), our beauty team gets excited every time she reveals a new manicure. As we move into December, we are especially enamored with her latest manicure, which, in my opinion, is the ideal Christmas manicure to carry you through the festivities without being overly obvious.
While scrolling through Instagram this morning, I was captivated by Dua Lipa's latest post, where she’s holding a book (one she recommends from her book club, by the way). While I’ll definitely be adding it to my reading list, her starry manicure also captured my attention.
With silver and gold metallic stars adorning her long almond-shaped nails, her celestial manicure strikes a balance between being cool and festive. Set against a sheer, neutral base (I suspect it’s OPI Bubble Bath), the stars are brushed on in chrome silver and gold. This design offers an elegant twist on holiday nails without the complications of glitter or snowflakes. They evoke a seasonal sense while subtly nodding to the Christmas spirit. We have definitely saved these images for our next manicure.
