As a beauty editor who primarily wears minimalist manicures (feel free to call me boring, it doesn’t bother me), I typically opt for either a sheer pink nail polish or a milky manicure. Even though reporting on nail trends is part of my role, it’s uncommon to see me stray from these two choices. However, I’m setting both aside this month for a new milky nail shade that’s been popping up on my feeds: peach milk nails.
What Are Peach Milk Nails?
Similar to the sheer white milky manicures that came before, peach milk nails have a delightful peachy twist. They feature the same sheer finish as strawberry milk nails and almond milk nails, but with creamy peach undertones that brighten the nails and create a chic look. Although they remain understated, they offer a refreshing change from the classic sheer pinks that have been trending lately. I first came across this style on Harriet Westmorland’s Instagram profile, where she has established her own brand, Westmoreland Cosmetics, offering Glass Gels and Glass Polishes with sheer, milky finishes. She uses Shade 3 from the Vanilla Gloss collection to achieve a milky-peach finish, and I personally can’t wait to give it a try.
