My Favorite Shopping Picks of 2025: 31 Products I Tried and Adored This Year
As the end of the year approaches, a familiar tradition begins in early December: everyone starts sharing their “Wrapped”—a retrospective of their most listened-to music from the year. This got me reflecting on my own yearly summary: the items I frequently reached for throughout 2025. For clothing, I concentrated on the pieces that became true essentials: the Geel Brynn Skirt, Swedish Stockings tights, Vagabond boots, Camper flats, Cou Cou Intimates pointelle basics, and a selection of cashmere sweaters. In the beauty realm, the standout products were equally clear—from Chanel Les Beiges foundation to Rōz’s serum and oil. I also introduced a few new home favorites this year: a Parachute pillow I now swear by, a twin-size blanket I keep on my Sundays Company Movie Night Sofa, and bedding from Studio Sutram. Below, you'll find 31 of the products I tried and genuinely loved since last January.
Clothing
The L.A. brand Geel has been one of my preferred brands to shop from this year.
Swedish Stockings
Franka Check Tights
Argyle made a surprising return in fashion this year, and I found myself constantly wearing these Swedish Stockings—my new favorite tights brand.
Vagabond
Blanca Tall Boots
These elegant knee-high boots elevate any outfit while remaining comfortable with their low heel.
BASERANGE
Pama 3/4 Tee Shirt
The Pama 3/4 Tee from Baserange presents a more intriguing take on the classic cotton T-shirt.
Cou Cou Intimates
The Midi Slip Dress
During the summer, The Midi Slip Dress from Cou Cou Intimates was one of my most worn pieces…
Cou Cou Intimates
The Iris Slip
…along with this effortless cotton voile slip.
I never expected a pair of black flats could garner me so many compliments, but this incredibly comfortable Camper pair did.
Charlie Beads
The 90s Bias Skirt White
I can't wait for warmer weather to return so I can wear the 90s Bias Skirt White from Charlie Beads, and I'm eager to purchase more of their items.
Belkys Studio
Genevieve Skirt
This asymmetrical midi skirt from Belkys features topstitching details that make it feel unique.
Los Angeles Apparel
Jelly Flats
Interestingly, I was the second customer at the new Los Angeles Apparel store in Soho. I hurried in to buy these Jelly Flats before a beach trip to Jamaica, and they turned out to be the ideal choice. I even continued to wear them into fall with tights.
Anyone who knows me is aware that I rarely wear jeans, but this is the pair that may change that.
For a time, I feared I’d only wear my J.Crew Rollneck forever. There was a four-day period when I literally couldn’t take it off. I can recall at least four editors who also own it—we were once on a call where three of us appeared wearing the same sweater. Now, it’s even available for monogramming.
Falconeri
Ultrasoft Cashmere Crewneck Sweater with Set-in Sleeves
Cashmere sweaters help me endure the winters in New York, and I’ve really enjoyed this one from Falconeri.
Aritzia
Essential Cashmere Relaxed Boatneck Sweater
I received this Essential Cashmere Relaxed Boatneck Sweater as a gift, and I love its flattering boatneck shape—I’m considering getting it in black, too.
Beauty
Erewhon
Antibacterial Hand Sanitizer Spray
You wouldn’t believe I went to two different Erewhons to track this down the last time I was in L.A. My best friend introduced me to it, and I was determined to get a bottle for myself—she always picks up several when she’s there for work. I realize it sounds silly (the people I was with kept asking, “Why do you want this hand sanitizer so much?”), but I'm very particular about what I use on my hands. I can’t stand anything that feels sticky. I adore how it smells, with hints of eucalyptus, clove, and cinnamon.
CHANEL
Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation Hydration and Longwear
After not having a proper foundation for years—being a loyal skin-tint user—I finally found one I can’t stop wearing: the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation Hydration and Longwear. It meets the “I can’t even feel it on” test, and it’s noncomedogenic.
CHANEL
Le Crayon Lèvres Longwear Lip Pencil in 162 Nude Brun
If you’ve been following the Nina Park lip-combo discussions on TikTok, this is the lip liner that people claim she uses on her celebrity clients.
Charlotte Tilbury
Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow Talk Medium
We all love it for a reason
