As the end of the year approaches, a familiar tradition begins in early December: everyone starts sharing their “Wrapped”—a retrospective of their most listened-to music from the year. This got me reflecting on my own yearly summary: the items I frequently reached for throughout 2025. For clothing, I concentrated on the pieces that became true essentials: the Geel Brynn Skirt, Swedish Stockings tights, Vagabond boots, Camper flats, Cou Cou Intimates pointelle basics, and a selection of cashmere sweaters. In the beauty realm, the standout products were equally clear—from Chanel Les Beiges foundation to Rōz’s serum and oil. I also introduced a few new home favorites this year: a Parachute pillow I now swear by, a twin-size blanket I keep on my Sundays Company Movie Night Sofa, and bedding from Studio Sutram. Anyone who knows me is aware that I rarely wear jeans, but this is the pair that may change that.
For a time, I feared I’d only wear my J.Crew Rollneck forever. There was a four-day period when I literally couldn’t take it off. I can recall at least four editors who also own it—we were once on a call where three of us appeared wearing the same sweater. Now, it’s even available for monogramming.
