      "Our love story, which has almost reached a decade, began when we studied abroad in London during the summer of 2016," recalls Mollie Mandel, integrated marketing director for luxury at Who What Wear and Marie Claire, as she reminisces about her international romance with her husband, Matthew Stewart, managing partner at River Circle Capital and Galt Holdings. "I first noticed Matthew at a fraternity party during my junior year, where his band was performing. I remember asking my friend, 'Who is that?' Later, I found out he would also be studying in London that summer and jokingly thought, 'Who knows? Maybe I'll end up falling for Matthew Stewart this summer.'" Little did she know that they would indeed fall in love that summer in London.

      Their love blossomed in London and continued with years of long-distance dating while living in New York and Atlanta. "After years apart and moving to Nashville, Matthew orchestrated a surprise proposal in Central Park while I was in New York for work," Mandel shares excitedly. "Our families, including my grandma, who passed down the ring my grandpa had given her 70 years ago in NYC, were all in on the surprise."

      Following their engagement, the couple began wedding planning and quickly chose Blackberry Farm, a vast 4,200-acre estate nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Walland, Tennessee. "Living in Nashville made this location especially meaningful for us," Mandel says. The wedding, held on a crisp fall weekend in November 2025, realized the couple's vision perfectly, featuring seasonal floral arrangements in autumn hues. The bride's attire included designs from Danielle Frankel, Lein, and vintage Ralph Lauren. The reception featured a performance by the groom's college band, linking back to the moment they first met.

      "The welcome party was a golden tribute to the season. Our fabulous florist, Ariella Chezar, inspired us to highlight the warm tones of the birch trees fringing the creekside space."

      "Both Matthew and I chose Ralph Lauren attire for the occasion. He looked dapper in a tweed suit with suede details and loafers, while I wore a vintage RL dress from Tab Vintage matched with heeled RL Collection boots. The dress's stripe-and-paisley patchwork perfectly tied together my looks for the weekend. For something borrowed, I wore wedding earrings from my best friend Kat, along with an antique cuff from the 1800s that my bridesmaids gifted me."

      "We dressed the picnic tables and benches with striped honey-yellow linens and complemented the place settings with blind-pressed menus featuring seasonal farm symbols. Ariella adorned the tables with stunning florals, rich moss, golden pears, and beautifully wild mushrooms. Since Matthew enjoys fishing, the Yallarhammer (a type of fly for fly-fishing) setting was a fitting theme for Friday, and we incorporated that into the escort-card moment!"

      "We dined under lights and lanterns glowing over the pond, and later invited guests to an outdoor concert featuring one of our favorite bands and a family friend, Wilderado. It truly was a highlight of the weekend that I will always cherish."

      "I prepared for the day in the Garden House with my friends. It was the perfect, tranquil start to such a special day."
