However, when it comes to L.L.Bean's signature boots, the style has endured for over a century. The brand's Bean Boots originated back in 1912, when L.L.Bean himself needed a durable yet flexible option for hunting in the wilderness of Maine. Although the initial batch of boots wasn't crafted well enough, Bean refined the design to create the beloved Bean Boots we know today. Now, the recognizable triple-line stitching of this iconic boot can be spotted on individuals from the mountains of Colorado to the streets of New York Fashion Week—it's literally never gone out of style. I appreciate that they are available in a wide range of options, including tall, short, flannel-lined, shearling-lined, and fleece-lined, not to mention many enjoyable color combinations.
