To wear lace slip dresses in the 2026 style, it’s important to fully commit by pairing them with high heels that highlight the sultry fabric and form-fitting design. Last summer, we styled them with trousers and sweaters, allowing just a hint of lace to peek through, but after enduring a harsh winter, spring gives us all the chance to have fun and indulge in tiny dresses and tall heels if that’s what we desire. But don't just take my word for it; Alexa Chung is at the forefront of this trend.
The fashion personality, who just returned from an extensive stay in Paris during fashion week, shared not just one but two outfits featuring lace slip dresses, both styled with playful heels. The first dress, a lime green piece with yellow lace, was from the British brand Debute. Chung wore this now-sold-out Tallulah Dress in London, and the brand encourages pairing it with heels and tousled hair for a night out.
