Welcome to Beauty's Night Out, a series focused on essential beauty discussions shaping the nightlife culture. Get ready for an exclusive look at new trends, behind-the-scenes tutorials, and plenty of inspiration for your nights out—just grab your favorite playlist. This edition features a sneak peek into a night out with Morgan Stewart McGraw, who recently launched a new podcast with SiriusXM.

Morgan Stewart McGraw could read the alphabet, and I would be captivated. The alum of Rich Kids of Beverly Hills, founder of Renggli, and genuine tastemaker possesses a star quality that is both enchanting and comforting. Speaking with McGraw on a Monday afternoon truly feels like catching up with a friend—albeit a friend with exceptional recommendations for The Row bags—and even though she admits she "never thought [she] would do a podcast," I can't think of a better way to pull in her 1.6 million followers closer to her world. "I feel like I've been having these various conversations in my head for the last three years, and it's time to share them," she confidently states.

Play The Morgan Stewart Show at full volume as you apply your makeup for an evening out, and it feels as if she’s right there on your couch, offering product suggestions and sharing her candid opinions. "You’re going to hear many facets of Morgan Stewart," McGraw shares with me. The podcast includes interview segments where friends and family join as special guests (I’ve heard her husband and mother will appear in the initial episodes, alongside Khloé Kardashian and Tinx), but there will also be solo chats about whatever is genuinely on her mind that day. "I have a whole episode dedicated to my icks," she adds. "You’ll definitely find it amusing, especially while you’re getting ready and enjoying a glass of wine. I’m not going to bore you. Can you imagine?"

No, I really can’t. Even the simplest occurrences transform into thrilling stories when told by McGraw. ("I typically dislike lip gloss, but for some reason, I’m wearing it today," she jokes.) For instance, when we start our video call, she admits she has no idea where her wallet is, which leads to a discussion about her morning routine and ultimately our zodiac signs. (McGraw’s a Gemini, "but May—don’t be scared," she quips.)

Naturally, she has a backstory for every beauty essential for a night out. A contour stick isn’t merely a contour stick; McGraw insists it "will change your f***ing life." She also has a covert supplier for a discontinued bronzer ("I have them send it to me on the low"), and staying true to her fashion critic persona, she has plenty of opinions on bag trends. "I’ve been taking my old The Row Ascot bag out. I’m not interested in a mini Kelly anymore unless it’s a fun color," she asserts. A well-loved Ascot it is—or she might just toss a few necessities into her pockets. "I’m very type A and type B combined," she adds. "I’ve gone out with a powder brush in my back pocket." Powder brushes: the new must-have accessories. Discover the rest of her essentials below, from the lip liner she stocks up on to the gentle cleanser she swears by.

"I'm very into lip liner," McGraw says regarding her essentials. "I think I need that more than any lip balm or lipstick. At this point, my lips have lost all color, so if the lip liner fades, we’re in serious trouble." Her go-to for application (and reapplication) is Make Up For Ever's Artist Color Pencil in the shade Anywhere Caffeine. "I buy around 30 at a time because it’s the best lip liner. It’s the ideal nude shade," she notes.

Another favorite pencil? Anastasia Beverly Hills's Ultra-Slim Eyebrow Pencil in Taupe. "I don’t go for blonde or dark brown—very important. It’s taupe," she clarifies. I completely agree with her on the gray-brown shade; as celebrity makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes once mentioned, a grayish brow product is best for those with cooler hair tones. At this point, I’m convinced McGraw and I share the same makeup strategy because the next item in her going-out kit is brown mascara—specifically, Tower 28's MakeWaves Mascara, a lengthening formula I adore (so much that I wore it on my wedding day). "I’ve also been curling my lashes more lately, which was a fear I had to overcome," McGraw jokes.

Next in line is McGraw's game-changing contour stick: Anastasia Beverly Hills Smooth Blur Cream Contour Stick. "I dot it on my forehead, [on the] cheekbones... a bit in the eye creases to create some shadow, and under the chin. It is the best contour stick
