      I have kept quoting The Devil Wears Prada ever since its release two decades ago, so I am undeniably thrilled about the long-awaited sequel coming out on May 1. While I'm eager to discover what Andy, Miranda, and Emily will be up to in the film, I'm just as curious about what the cast will don during the promotional tour. As of April 2, we've only just begun the press circuit—four days in—but Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway have already showcased some stunning outfits. Streep's latest ensemble, which features a "lumpy" blue sweater, pays homage to Miranda's character. For her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Streep donned a custom J.Crew sweater created in collaboration with her stylist, Micaela Erlanger. J.Crew Creative Director Olympia Gayot stated, “Meryl made cerulean a cultural thesis, so the expectations were high. That monologue is incredibly insightful and humorous—it serves as a reminder that what feels personal is part of a larger narrative, which is why The Devil Wears Prada continues to resonate. At J.Crew, we've been passionate about color since 1983, so collaborating on cerulean—the cerulean—with Micaela was both an honor and a playful nod. Cashmere was the right choice: refined, slightly self-aware. And Meryl makes everything iconic.
