While we've definitely experienced some serious FOMO from the weekend, the festival consistently provides inspiration for beauty—especially in terms of hair trends. Hailey Bieber’s latest haircut from Coachella makes a strong case for long layers being a key hair trend this summer.
Usually, we see Hailey sporting short bob cuts or mid-length styles, but this year she seems to have embraced longer lengths with cascading waterfall layers that flow from her shoulders to her ends. I’m totally captivated by it.
These face-framing layers offer a fantastic way to add movement or refresh longer hairstyles without resorting to a drastic cut. They’re still long enough to be styled in a ponytail or bun, and look equally chic straightened or styled like Rachel Green, which is how Hailey wore hers this past weekend. All you need is a hot brush or thermal brush to curl the ends inward, or you can use a round brush with a hairdryer to achieve the flicky ends and '90s-inspired movement.
Hailey Bieber's long-time hairstylist Justine Marjan created those waterfall layers for the festival, and I have no doubt they’ll become a major summer haircut trend in the coming months.
