White skirts aren’t "out," but celebrities in their 40s are embracing this lovely color trend instead.

      Do you recall last summer when you couldn't scroll through Instagram for even a couple of seconds without spotting someone in a white cotton maxi skirt? It truly was the season's trend, and it seems to be holding strong into 2026. Currently, I'm drawing inspiration from my favorite stylish celebrities in their 40s, who have embraced a different color trend: pastel pink. Most recently, Kate Hudson was seen in Los Angeles sporting a slip skirt in a lovely shade of pink. She paired it with a casual T-shirt and Alaïa Leather-Trimmed Straw Ballet Flats ($1650). She's not the only stylish woman in her 40s favoring this color. Natalie Portman was spotted at a tennis match in a pleated pink skirt, while Paris Hilton donned her pink version at an event on Wall Street at the New York Stock Exchange. If that isn't enough to convince you that this skirt trend is versatile for any occasion, I'm not sure what is.
