I understand if you're feeling a bit worn out by the press tour for The Devil Wears Prada 2, but I just can't relate. I'm all in for more of Miranda, Andy, Nigel, and Emily! The original cast from 2006 has been traveling worldwide as we approach the sequel's release on May 1, and I'm enjoying every moment of the outfits, collaborations, sneak peeks, and fan events. No matter how you feel about the global marketing strategy, we can all agree that Meryl Streep has flawlessly nailed her press tour looks. Although Emily Blunt hasn't made it to every event, she was spotted in NYC yesterday wearing jeans and white sneakers for a laid-back press appearance. Now, let's talk about our other star: Anne Hathaway. This week, Hathaway donned a Sacai coat, Dolce & Gabbana trousers, Versace shoes, Bulgari jewelry, Khaite x Oliver Peoples sunglasses, and a DeMellier New York Shoulder Bag ($396). Her handbag struck me as the ideal embodiment of Andy Sachs 2.0: sophisticated, confident, serious, polished, and stylishly effortless. While I have nothing against crossbody bags—I'll hold onto mine forever— a structured top-handle tote is clearly the preferred choice for the office.
