I work in fashion in NYC—here are the seven summer shoe trends featuring in my capsule wardrobe.

      Unlike winter on the East Coast, where confined shoes are the norm, the option of open footwear in spring and summer is an immediate advantage. There's something uniquely thrilling about styles we can’t wear throughout the year, making them even more appealing to put on.
