      Does anyone else find foundation sticks a bit drying? Despite my fondness for the format, my past experiences have shown that they've often clung to dry areas. However, upon testing this foundation on my hand, I couldn't help but feel excited. It's challenging to describe how creamy it is, but I'll do my best. The formula contains ceramides, squalane, sodium hyaluronate, and shea butter, so it’s easy to see how hydrating it is. As a beauty editor, I appreciate a hybrid of skincare and makeup. That said, as someone with combination skin, I was slightly doubtful about how oily it might get throughout the day, or if the hydrating ingredients might feel heavy. Surprisingly, this formula is quite lightweight. In fact, I’d say it feels like I'm wearing nothing at all.

      Thanks to its velvety texture, this foundation applies incredibly smoothly (not that I've ever put butter on my skin, but you get the idea). With one swipe, blemishes, redness, and pores appear blurred, creating an even, luminous base that boosts my confidence. Whether you choose to use a foundation brush or your fingers, just swipe the stick onto your skin and blend as you go.

      **My Verdict**

      Is it clear that I've become enamored with another Jones Road base product? This little stick has swiftly replaced all of my tinted moisturisers, skin tints, and foundations, and I can't envision reaching for anything else this season. The creamy formula, ease of application, naturally radiant finish, and extensive array of shades and undertones (I wear the shade Beige, by the way)... I have no complaints at all. For someone who's constantly on the go this summer, this launch couldn't have come at a better moment. I highly recommend adding this foundation stick to your makeup collection ASAP.
