Introducing Prada's Must-Have Bag for Summer 2026
The first Monday of May is synonymous with the Met Gala, which stands as one of the most significant events in the fashion world. Beyond the runways, it serves as a crucial venue for editors to scout for inspiration and emerging trends, from the red carpet to the after-parties. Hunter Schafer donned one of our team's favorite looks of the evening—a custom Prada gown influenced by Gustav Klimt's "Mäda Primavesi." Later, for the Saint Laurent after-party at People's Bar in New York City, she switched into a custom dress designed by the up-and-coming British designer Steve O Smith and accessorized with Prada's Wish Pouch. This reminded me of the Italian luxury brand's S/S 26 runway show, where the pouch was featured multiple times, embodying a minimalist approach to essentials: phone, keys, and wallet. The silhouette is available in three materials—silk, Re-Nylon, and leather—in a palette that includes black, gray, orange, blue, brown, and a now-sold-out pink. Pouches were also showcased at Loewe, Miu Miu, and Valentino's spring/summer 2026 presentations, as well as at Celine's F/W 26 show, exuding a nostalgic eveningwear vibe reminiscent of delicate styles from the late 18th century.
