Time for shared adventures: "Dream Island" talked about family entertainment in the street part of the park.
This summer, a new large-scale area for recreation for guests of all ages will appear in Moscow — the outdoor part of the amusement park "Dream Island." Alongside unique extreme attractions, there will be children's and family formats for bright impressions.
Attractions have already been installed in the space: the "Dream Bus," which will take guests on a ride at height; the "Hero's Flight" attraction, simulating a journey on a hang glider; the "Young Pirate" swings; the water attraction with the effect of riding jet skis, "Big Whirlpool"; the fun carousel "Winding Carriage"; an exciting ride along a picturesque route between rocks and exotic plants, "Dreamers Station 2 ½"; and the fun carousel "Crazy Cars."
A separate point of attraction will be the largest interactive green maze covering an area of 2500 sq.m, created using more than 1500 saplings of trees and shrubs.
In the heart of the outdoor park is the "Dreamers Village" — a themed area for family leisure. Dreamers are seven magical mascots of "Dream Island," each with their own character and story. Their images refer to the cone-shaped towers on the facade of the main building of the park, reflected in the logo.
The "Dreamers Village" will occupy an area comparable to three FIFA football fields and will become one of the largest children's spaces in Moscow. Here, character houses, cafes, shops, photo locations, and, of course, attractions for the whole family will appear. The work on creating the space is in the final stage, with the main objects already installed and the decoration of the area being completed.
Other themed spaces will also appear in the park: "Valley of Explorers" and "Speed Territory." Guests can look forward to the water attraction "Yeti's Children," simulating a canoe trip on a calm river; the "Mini Aviators" carousel; and the opportunity to take a flight on motorcycles in the "Motor Rally" attraction.
Unlike extreme attractions (for example, a slide as tall as a 17-story building and one kilometer long), these formats are aimed at joint leisure for children and adults. Here, speed or height records are not important, but the opportunity to discover new things, support each other, and experience bright impressions as a family.
"For us, it is important to create an environment where the whole family can spend time together. Therefore, in the open part of the park, alongside extreme attractions, there will also be calmer, more comfortable leisure formats where children can play, explore the world, and unleash their imagination, while parents can be nearby and share these moments. This is how priceless family memories are born: when you laugh together, discover something new, make plans for the next attraction, and take away emotions that you want to remember again and again," noted Mikhail Kondratiev, General Director of AO "REGIONS-Entertainment."
The technical launch of the outdoor park is scheduled for July 11. The new space will be introduced in stages, with the project team focusing on adapting visitor flows and improving the guest experience. The official grand opening will take place on Moscow City Day. A total of five new themed worlds and more than 20 outdoor attractions will be available to visitors.
After the launch, "Dream Island" will enter the top 5 amusement parks in the world by the number of mechanical attractions — there will be more than 60 in total on the territory, and the total number of themed universes will grow to fifteen. A ticket for the indoor and outdoor parts of the park will be unified. There are no plans to increase prices for visiting "Dream Island" in the current summer season.
