After officially getting married at the Old Marylebone Town Hall in London a few weeks back—where the bride donned a custom, Bianca Jagger-inspired Schiaparelli skirt suit paired with an elegant wide-brimmed hat—Dua Lipa and Callum Turner have now shared photos from the next phase of their celebrations in Sicily. For the initial part of the Italian festivities, Dua sported a custom Bottega Veneta halterneck gown featuring the brand's signature intrecciato-inspired details. For the main ceremony, however, Dua chose to wear a gown from a brand she has a deep connection with: Chanel.

      The bride wore a bespoke Chanel Haute Couture wedding dress embellished with feathers and crystal accents. The halterneck design flaunted a low back and an elongated train adorned with delicate feather details. She completed the ensemble with a feather-trimmed headpiece and an elaborate embroidered veil.

      Handcrafted at Chanel's ateliers located at 31 Rue Cambon in Paris, the gown showcased the craftsmanship of several of the house’s specialized métiers d'art. A remarkable 480,000 beads were meticulously hand-embroidered onto the dress, and the trompe l'oeil jewel embellishments required 1,155 hours to create. The two-meter train was finished with 25,000 feathers, while Dua's six-meter tulle veil was similarly enhanced with hand-embroidered beads and feathers, resulting in an elegant and cohesive appearance.

      This gown represents the first Chanel Haute Couture wedding dress designed by Matthieu Blazy for a friend of the house. Given her status as an official Chanel ambassador and the face of the Chanel 25 handbag campaign, Dua's selection of a wedding dress from Chanel seemed exceptionally appropriate.
