The arrival of August signifies the final stretch of summer, providing one of the last chances to escape to the enchanting Mediterranean and relish the remaining warm temperatures and clear blue skies. For many, this means ticking off a European summer destination that has been calling throughout the season. For others, it may involve savoring the unpredictably British weather with a weekend getaway to Brighton or Margate. For Kate Moss, however, it signifies her yearly journey to the Balearic Islands, where she certainly knows how to make an entrance.

Upon her arrival in Formentera earlier today, the supermodel showcased that a travel wardrobe can extend far beyond what fits underneath the seat of an EasyJet flight. With a collection of designer accessories in tow, she arrived at the port carrying a selection of Hermès bags valued at over £50,000. Now that's traveling with flair.

In a fashion choice that would undoubtedly please Jane Birkin—who inspired the creation of the Hermès Birkin after sharing her frustrations about her basket bag on a flight with Jean-Louis Dumas—Moss was seen with a Birkin stuffed under her arm and a Kelly bag draped over her shoulder. A girl can only truly dream.

Of course, this remarkable display is what we expect from fashion's ultimate icon, Kate Moss. After all, she has been sporting pirate boots since the ’90s, turned Hunter Wellingtons into a must-have item, and at least once hung out of a building window while having a cigarette. Nonetheless, it’s quite refreshing to see such luxurious items being utilized for their intended purpose.

To complete her ensemble, she defied another unwritten fashion rule by donning an all-black outfit, featuring a sheer dress paired with patent ballet flats inspired by French design. This isn't the first time the 52-year-old has garnered attention for her creative use of Hermès leather goods or her unconventional take on summer vacation attire.

Around this time last year, Moss was spotted carrying a Kelly bag as a beach tote, leaving it open as she walked along the sand with her daughter, Lila. Only time will reveal how she will incorporate her collection of luxury items during this trip. However, if this instance is any indication, we wouldn’t be surprised to see her utilizing it to carry her souvenirs as well.
